Quick start
From a connected wallet to a first rule that runs, in ten minutes.
This takes about ten minutes. At the end you will have a vault, an agent with a box of limits, and one small rule that you watched run.
#What you need
| You need | Why | Where to get it |
|---|---|---|
| A wallet | It owns your vault and signs every step. There are no emails or passwords. | Any browser wallet that can add a custom network. |
| A little ETH on Robinhood Chain | Gas for creating the vault, signing the agent's box and creating rules. | Bridge ETH to the chain: docs.robinhood.com/chain/bridging |
| USDG or ETH to trade with | This is what the agent spends. USDG is the stablecoin the rules are priced in. | Bridge or swap on the chain. |
#The first ten minutes
- Connect your wallet
Open the App and connect. If the wallet is on another network the page asks you to switch to Robinhood Chain (chain id
4663). - Create your vault
One transaction creates a personal vault that only your wallet controls. Your strategies and funds live there.
- Put something in
Open the vault card, choose Deposit, pick a token and an amount.
- USDG: an approval and then the deposit.
- ETH: the site wraps it into WETH and sends it to the vault, two transactions.
Start small: ten or twenty dollars is enough to see everything work.
- Set up your agent
In the agent card write what it should aim for, tick the stocks it may use, and set the box. Then sign once. The next page, The agent, explains every field.
If you only want rules you control yourself, skip this and use the manual form under For advanced users.
- Watch it work
The agent looks at your vault every few hours. Press Look now to make it look at once (at most every half hour). Every action appears in the log with its reason, and you can talk to it.
- Withdraw when you like
Switch the vault card to Withdraw. It works at any time, even if the protocol is paused.
#A careful first test
If you want to see the whole loop with almost nothing at stake, do this once before raising any amounts:
- Deposit $10–20 of USDG, plus a little ETH in your wallet for gas.
- Create a buy on a schedule rule for $5 of AAPL, repeating every hour (see Strategies).
- Open the log: you should see the run, the price it used and a link to the transaction.
- Withdraw everything and check that it arrived in your wallet.
- Only then try a stop-loss or a rebalance, and raise the amounts step by step.
