FAQ and glossary

Short answers to the questions people ask first, and the words used here.

#Money and safety

Can the agent take my money?

No. The agent never holds your funds and the vault contract does not let it withdraw or send them anywhere. All it gets is a box of limits written on chain: which stocks, how much per run and per day, how many rules, and for how long. You can take its powers away in one transaction. See The agent.

Who can withdraw from my vault?

Only your wallet. This holds even when strategies or the whole protocol are paused. Neither the owner of the protocol, nor a keeper, nor the agent can withdraw from it.

What is the worst the agent can do?

Lose money on trades that stay inside your box, by being wrong about the market. The box caps how much one run and one day can move, so choose limits you would accept losing. If its key were stolen it still could only act inside those limits. It cannot withdraw.

What protects me from a bad price?

Every trade is checked against the Chainlink price. The vault works out the lowest result it accepts (the oracle price minus slippage, 1.5% by default) and reverts the whole transaction if the swap gives less. Stale prices and corporate actions pause the rules instead of trading at a wrong price.

Does the agent guarantee a profit?

No. It does not predict prices and nothing here is investment advice. It automates discipline. Profit and loss depend on the stocks, and past results of an agent do not promise future ones.

#Using it

What do I need to start?

A wallet, a little ETH on Robinhood Chain for gas, and USDG or ETH to trade with. Follow the Quick start.

Which stocks can I trade?

Nineteen tokenized stocks, including AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, MSFT, SPY and QQQ, against USDG or ETH. The full list is on Contracts and networks.

Why are there no trades at the weekend?

Stock price feeds update 24/5. When a price is older than 25 hours the rules wait on their own and resume when the feed updates. This is deliberate: it avoids trading at an out-of-date price.

Why is my rule “waiting” or “watching price”?

Most statuses are normal waiting: a schedule has not come round, or the trigger price has not been reached. The full list is on Strategies.

Can I edit a rule?

No. Cancel it and create it again. Cancelled rules stay listed in the vault.

Can I pay with ETH?

Yes. The vault holds ether as WETH: Deposit wraps it for you (two transactions) and Withdraw unwraps it. NVDA and SPY have a direct ETH pool, other stocks go through USDG in one transaction at a slightly higher spread.

What does it cost?

Only the network gas for creating a vault and signing, plus 0.1% to the keeper and 0.1% to the protocol on each run. A $25 buy costs five cents in fees. See Fees and the token.

Why was a run reverted?

The vault reverts any trade that would end worse than the allowed minimum. The oracle and the pool usually differ by 0.1–0.7%, and in a fast market the gap can exceed your slippage. Nothing moves when a run reverts, and the rule tries again later.

#The token and rewards

Is there a token?

It is not launched yet. Fees are already being saved for it, and on launch day what has accumulated is burned. Until then agent mode and chat are open to everyone. After launch they need a small share of the supply in your wallet (by default 0.01%).

Do holders get paid for staking?

No. The token has no yield. Its jobs are access to the agent, burning, author rewards and the keeper bond. See Fees and the token.

How do authors get paid?

70% of the protocol fee goes to the authors' pool, and every hour the contract pays 10% of that pool in ETH, split equally between everyone who has an agent on sale (one share per seller, and the seller must hold the token's minimum share). Agent owners also earn from the licenses they sell.

#Keepers and building

Can I run my own keeper?

Yes, once the token has launched: bond the minimum, run the robot with a separate wallet and a little ETH, and earn 0.1% of every run you trigger. See Run a keeper.

Is there an API?

Yes: read-only endpoints, wallet sign-in, the strategy catalog and the public agents. See API.
